The 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL)

 The 2023 Indian Premier League (IPL) was won by the Chennai Super Kings. They defeated the Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the final, which was played at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 29, 2023. This was CSK's fifth IPL title, and they became the first team to win the tournament five times.

CSK were the defending champions, but they had a slow start to the 2023 season. They lost their first two matches, but they then won six of their next seven matches to qualify for the playoffs. In the playoffs, CSK defeated the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Eliminator and the Rajasthan Royals in the Qualifier 2 to reach the final.

In the final, CSK were chasing a target of 171 runs. They got off to a good start, with Ruturaj Gaikwad scoring 53 runs off 42 balls. However, the Titans fought back and reduced CSK to 123 for 5 in the 18th over. 

However, Ravindra Jadeja hit a six and a four off the last two balls to help CSK win the match and the title.

Jadeja was named the Man of the Match for his unbeaten 39 runs off 17 balls. He also took 2 wickets for 24 runs in his four overs.

The win was a fitting end to a memorable season for CSK. 

They were the most consistent team throughout the tournament, and they deserved to win the title.
